About Me

Growing up on the West Coast, I developed a deep love for the sand and the sea.
I've traveled extensively along the West and Gulf Coasts, the Florida Keys, Hawaiian Islands, and Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico.
To me, there is nothing like toes in the sand, a mojito in hand and the sounds of music, laughter and the rolling waves. This feels like home to me.
That's not to say I dont enjoy a culturally immersive journey inland!
Domestically, my favorites are New Orleans for its deep rooted culture, jazz, blues and zydeco music, and cajun food!  Tennessee for the majestic Smoky Mountains, phenomenal live music scene and out of this world pit BBQ. The multitude of awe-inspiring views, nature and nightlife in places like Nevada, Arizona and California are a few of my favorite getaways.
Internationally, it's a big, big beautiful world to explore and Europe is home to some of my favorite destinations. My recent adventures took me and my husband to Italy where I have researched extensively, booked and traveled.  Italy is literally what my dreams are made of. The ancient ruins and farmhouses, the historical presence that still lives loud and clear. And need  I say- the food?!  We took a culinary journey through the country, learning to make home-made pasta and sauce, sipping regional wines, tasting the freshest mozzerella and fried artichokes and michelin-starred chef prepared 7 course meals.
The pasta, the pizza, the arancini, the gelato...
Other magical journeys worth noting- the Lucayan Archipelago and Leeward Islands of the Caribbean and exploring the ancient mosques and Grand Bazaar of Istanbul, Turkey.
I still have many places on my bucketlist, and I'll continue to work my way through them. Our next adventure will be back to Europe to tour the majestic and history rich Scottish Highlands and the Isle of Skye, with a stop in Dublin, Ireland for pubs, grub, music, and just getting lost in the cultural scene of the city!
